The service life of hw-high-volume-fine-filters is approximately 20 times longer than that of conventional filter cartridges. hw-high-volume-fine-filters remove fine particles up to a minimum size of 5 µm before they reach the membrane of the reverse-osmosis-system, thus preventing unnecessary strain or even damage to the membrane.

hw-high-volume-fine-filters increase the performance of reverse-osmosis-membranes and prolong the service life.

hw-high-volume-fine-filters are made of a special synthetic material and are designed with an inwardly decreasing pore width. This ensures that coarse particles cannot block the extremely fine 5 µm filter pores of the core zone at the filter surface.

This guarantees even utilization of the entire filter volume, so that the hw-high-volume-fine-filter can be charged all the way to the core zone before the water flow rate is perceptibly reduced.
Due to the clear housing, the charge state of the hw-high-volume-fine-filter can be checked quickly at any time.
