The T5 Plant Pro lamp has been specifically formulated to combine the red and blue spectral peaks of the original tropical lamp to support plant photosynthesis, with the higher light output of the freshwater lamp. The result is a lamp which is noticeably brighter than the original tropical, making it ideal for more demanding plant species.

The popular T5 Plant Pro fluorescent aquarioum lamp is now also available in six new lamp lengths to suit the latest Juwel® T5 aquariums.
The new J5 Plant Pro lamps use the same phosphors as the current T5 Plant Pro, providing superior plant growth, while enhanching the colours of fish and plants.
They are availabel in the following wattages and sizes:
- 438 mm / 24 Watt Tube can be used in a 55 cm and 60 cm light unit.
- 590 mm / 28 Watt Tube can be used in a 70 cm and 80 cm light unit.
- 742 mm / 35 Watt Tube can be used in a 92 cm light unit.
- 895 mm / 45 Watt Tube can be used in a 92 cm light unit.
- 1047 mm / 54 Watt Tube can be used in a 120 cm light unit.
- 1200 mm / 54 Watt High-Lite Tube can be used in a 150 cm light unit.
